That was a neat article and seeing that he was improving that average was interesting, but I just don’t see how the White Sox wouldn’t have been able to find an outfielder with a better bat. Even if his average shot up in AA, it’s still a far cry from Major League pitching.

Terry Francona was his manager in BHam, and says MJ wouldve made it up to the majors in 3 years. Maybe he was just being nice but its worth noting.
