This country was born with limited ammo.
Any one remember, “don’t shoot till you see the white of the enemy’s eyes”?
Of course now with nuclear weapons, SAM’s, laser guided missiles, cyber warfare, etc., it is much easier to go into battle with less conventional arms.

I don't think that's true. Mass matters. And if you're over reliant on precision weapons, like we are, the enemy can easily turn it against you, by jamming the guidance on those weapons systems.
