Anyone fly fish for speckled trout ? What colored flys work best ? Any tips for a beginner?

Chartreuse clouser and EP Bait fish have worked well for me in the past.

Catching them off dock lights at night with a fly rod and cold beer is a good way to put some in the box.

That’s what my buddy does on Dog River, uses little cloister flies look like shite but they work

Lot of fun and you can throw dang near anything.
