The sweet spot for me is finding the 10-20 pt favorites. Obviously it takes 4-8 ML favorite picks to get the payout to a decent level. My typical bet for the weekend is risk $500 or so to win $500 or so, sometimes higher risk and sometimes higher payout, depending on the slate of game.
The 20+ pt favorites you’re right, the payout just isn’t worth the risk.
