I can’t possibly fathom the internet or anything moving fast enough to bet points in tennis
Two points can be played in 8 seconds. How in the world do you set lines in 8 seconds for someone 2,000 miles away to bet on?
Even live, at the event in person, one couldn’t move fast enough to set lines and bet on individual points
How in the world can you set a betting line and take bets in this amount of
Time

Welcome to the internet.

My best guess would be they have an algorithm that is constantly moving the line. I’ll miss consecutive points sometimes by not paying enough attention or a lag on the site. Even if you’re only able to get a bet on every other point the strategy still works. Move at your own pace. If you’re waiting for the Sportsbook to tell you, that you won or loss on a placed bet it’ll take too long to bet the next point. I watch the live scoreboard. It’s fairly easy on DraftKings.

let me tell you a story of how fast the betting world works.
I"m sitting in Tiger stadium for LSU-Ole Miss this past season.
We are kicking their arse in the 4th quarter so the stadium is emptying out a bit and i can finally get some reception in the stadium and log into draftkings.
I"m betting on the outcome of the drive.
The score is 31-20 near the beginning of the 4th quarter.
I haven't placed the bet yet but i'm watching the lines move as LSU has the ball. We start at our own 20. my DK app is open the whole time and i'm watching the lines move after each play. We cross midfeild and it's 1st and 10 from the 43. I was ready to place my "to score a td" bet any moment now. I was literally going to wait to see what happened next and submit this + money bet in an instant when something positive happened live.
JD drops back to pass, then tucks it and takes off running. He gains 11 yards to the Ole Miss 32 and i see the late hit on him immediately as he slides.
The instant i saw it happen i have my phone up and the lives bets ready. I immediately hit the "to score a td" bet pretty much as the flag is being thrown in the air. I go to hit submit and that bet has already been taken off the table and i'm unable to place the bet. The play was barely even over and that live bet was updated almost immediately as the flag went up in the air in anticipation of a 15 yard penalty that was going to put us in the redzone.
You can bet every single pitch in a baseball game.
I honestly don't know how they do this for every sporting event on the planet, but they do it.
