We get, we get it, the defense sucks.

Its ugly on the field, but what concerns me the most is the defensive morale is low, they have no confidence in the DCs, hate the defensive scheme, etc...its a bad situation

I agree. You can see it on the field and hear it in the statements the players make. This offseason will be potentially make or break. Miles needs to swallow his pride and make a change or we really could be heading into a downward trend.

Can a bad DC mess up our DLine this Bad? We were suppose to have one of the Best Dlines in the Nation...RA has played lights out, he seems like the only one that can pressure the QB on a consistant basis...I know the DB and LB have been out of position all year long...It seems as though they are forgetting their responsiblities...

Talk to the players one on one and its even more telling.

Its an ugly situation and I feel so bad for the players who came to LSU to play football and now stuck under these two clowns.

I think so. Coaching and technique are important at that position. But scheme can also have an effect on productivity.

There is nothing wrong with our players. They are not being coached and motivated. The DC's are in way over their heads. Les better wake up and make the changes needed. We called in this season and it was embarrassing and there was no need for it to go this route.

Not that i want to contribute to the melt-down, but just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed the same thing:

One of the most surprising things to me this year is how ineffective Curtis Taylor has been. Yeah, he was out for the last two games, but it seemed like last year he was always streaking down the field making a play on the ball, breaking up passes, always there to help a DB out. But this year, especially in the Ole Miss game (which i know he didnt play the whole time) it seems like when the DB is taken deep like PP was several times, there's no help in sight.

What's wrong?
