Jack Hunt
Hunt started out as a WR and #83 was his number.
Saban needed a "Smart" QB on Defense run his Defense, so Hunt was moved to safety and got a different number.
Devery got Hunts #83 and the rest is history.
How do you confuse Jack Hunt and Devery Henderson though?
Has Jim Hawthorne ever explained this? I'm sure he has, but I've never heard his explanation........
