It really wasn't that bad.
The first save. I didn't really need I was going to make it to the boat. I didn't call them.
The second save I already had secured the boat mostly.
The third wave saved me money though.

I have spent a shite pile of time on the water in 25 years and only had two incidents when I needed/wanted the coast guard. One when we went to a Pan Pan distress at 3 am between Ram Powell and Beercan (oil rigs) and got five guys off a boat right before we watched it sink. Coast Guard never sent anyone; just met us at the dock when we arrived to take a report. The other time was when a guy cut an artery/vein in his arm with a fillet knife. They did send a chopper then and did the whole damn basket drop, guy gets on board, and then lifts him off.
That is in literally thousands of days. You beat that in one afternoon.
