Where you excited about the hiring? What did you know about the guy? Was his bowl record and season record adequate? Could he get LSU to the top?

Personally I was not. Going back to his horrible bowl record and his smug on the TV.........the guy was a flat out douche. I really don't know about the hiring. What is your thoughts.

Yes..........let it out.....

Really and truthfully I told my father after his passionate speech after losing to OU by a field goal I wanted Les to be our next coach.

I was excited about the hire. At that point, I thought it was the best hire since Arnsparger

It was a known fact that Saban was a successful NFL DC and turned down MULTIPLE NFL head coaching jobs before coming here so anyone who says they liked the hire is a lying LES HATER! DAMN STRONG!!!!

You're lucky you didn't hire Les the 1st time around. No crystal footballs for you.

It won't ever go away until a "new" guy takes the place of our savior so.............why not?

Les will never apease the masses and SFP until we get,

You're lucky Saban didn't listen to his wife or you would have hired Les!

I was ecstatic. After hearing him speak for the first time, and seeing Emmert's commitment to the football program, I knew things were about to change.

Conversely, I saw many things since Miles arrived that were very similar to what we saw from DiNardo's teams. The fact that he does not get in his players' face when they make stupid penalties. The fact that he runs his mouth to the media and his players do too. But I was told to shut up, because it's just "different", not inferior to Saban's strict disciplinary style.

Don't kid yourselves- what we saw Saturday was four years in the making. The house of cards has finally fallen.

I thought I was the only one. I think the ol' ball coach would have won the NC in 2005 as well as 2007

if you want the most telling fact that made me worry about miles, it was the fact that gundy had to kick off a ton of starters from that team when he took over b/c miles let them run wild and there was a lot of bad apples and drama

that sounds like LSU recently

I don't know about 2005, but Spurrier would have been the clear favorite with our 2006 team.
