You can put down any “starter” fertilizer. Something around 20-20-10 would be good. As far as weeds, you’ll have to live with them for now unless you want to hand weed. Don’t spray any herbicide until next year at the earliest.

Excellent info! Yeah, I’m not too worried about the weeds for now. I have about 60k sq ft total to seed. Figured breaking it down into 3 sections would make it more manageable to keep watered.

When I do my next 20k sq ft….that section is already covered with quite a bit of weeds. A little common Bermuda as well. Would I be better off rounding up that area first and then seeding with the La Prima Bermuda? If so, how long would you wait after spraying Round up? Or any better ideas?
