There was always going to be hangover after Endgame. It was such a fantastic buildup and an almost perfect ending. It really lost momentum with the girl power scene but it was short and in the middle of the climax fortunately. They really should have taken a break and planned things out more. Once you move away from the more mainstream story lines you had a tall task to face. The cosmic stuff isn't something the average fan was very familiar with. Then you throw in the political climate where, even if unintended, you can have people calling something woke. It stumbled out the gates just like DC not doing Darkseid.

There are plenty of bad guys out there they could have used. That way Thor can go do Thor 3, the Guardians do GotG 3, Strange/Multiverse, etc, while they are putting together a new team.
