Or he left it sitting somewhere visible mid trip and it was lifted without him knowing, and he’s just finishing his trip while waiting for a new phone to be shipped home.

I get it, sketchy as anything, but being just a couple days into this, it really could be incredibly innocent. Especially with his room in good shape.
