DeSantis and Trump both need to come out clear on these 5 issues

In no particular order
1) Ukraine/MIC
2) Immigration
3) Trade
4) Pharmaceutical industrial complex/vaccines/SSRIs/etc
5) 4th Branch /Beurocratic state
DeSantis has established himself as the social conservative option, which is good. But he needs to clearly establish himself as more "based" and more "right wing" on the other 5 issues. If not, he won't be able to overcome Trump's semi-incumbent status, name ID, and popularity in his base.
It is a long shot as it is. But until DeSantis clearly establishes where he is and how he is clearly better than Trump on those issues, he won't be able to make any headway.

I don't disagree. My support for RD is based on what I know right now; he could say some things that would change my primary vote.

You're still thinking this is a primary though. Polls, dozens of different sources, show about 90% of the gop has their mind made up - whether for trump or rds. There is not enough undecided to matter, to make up the difference.
The only way Ron has any shot whatsoever is if they play around with and change the delegate voting structure like Dems did with Bernie. Even then it's a longshot.

To this day, I honestly don't know where he stands on the Ukraine conflict and how he is going to end it.
His Immigration speech was a good move and he seemed further to the right on Trump on this issue. Which is good.

You and I both know, at least I know, that's never going to happen. There is nothing he can say to sway my vote, and all of my coworkers feel the same way. Our minds are made up.
If you're in the 10% undecided group, good for you, you've got some decisions to make. There's nothing Trump can say to sway rds voters. There's not enough margin to turn this election, that's why you'll see delegate rules manipulation.
