My wife will be going to Disney in September with her dad and they’ll be going to the LSU game while they’re there.

Is anyone else doing this same plan? What is the best way for them to get to/from the game?

There’s a train nearby and it sounds like it may be easiest to Uber there rather than outside the stadium.

We’re doing it. Going to Uber or look into hiring a car service so I could have guaranteed pickup after the game

Mears Taxi app. Works similar to Uber or Lyft, cheaper and largest cab/shuttle company in the area.

Lyft and Uber would be second choice.

Renting a car from the airport and parking at the stadium with an overpriced parking pass purchased through LSU

There are parking passes across the stadium that you can book in advance from what I saw from a previous poster.

Yes, thats what we have and they're incredibly expensive ($163) but F it. I plan to show up late and don't want to look for a parking spot. Its going to be wayyyyy too hot to hang out in those shadeless parking lots and there is really nothing else to do near the stadium.

Getting to the game will be the easy part, however leaving will be a nightmare I'm sure if you are trying to Uber. I have used Tiffany Town Car roundtrip from the airport to Universal and they were really good.

That's their main concern. They're trying to figure out if it makes more sense to either walk or take a train to a secondary location and then request a ride from there. They're flying and want to avoid paying for a rental so a taxi or rideshare app is probably their best bet.

Another reason I plan to show up as late as humanly possible. They load those lots front to back to the earlier you get there the longer it will take you to get out.

The Sun Rail is a commuter train. Only operates Mon-Fri. No weekends or holidays.
