If Trump would’ve come out as a leader and said “I look forward to the challenge of campaigning against Ron. We need to cultivate young talent in the party”, I’d say he would have a better shot in the general. Maintaining the status quo from 15-16 isn’t bringing anyone in, and more than likely turning people away.

DJT trashing him as a loser and adopting leftist talking points the last six months has completely turned me off on the whole race. I'm just going to join SirWinston in the RFK, Jr. camp.

I just looked at some polling. In some polls Trump is ahead in a November matchup. In some polls Biden is ahead. DeSantis is behind Biden in most but not all. I'd say Trump is mostly in the lead. But it isn't by very much.
The Hill puts Trump up by six points. That's the best I saw.
