Is this benefit at a Marina? We are fixing to head to GI and just wondering where the benefit would be. If they are selling autographs to raise money my boys would love that.

The benefit is the Blue Boot Fishing Rodeo. It was started a few years ago by a friend of mine (and his wife) after his son drowned to raise awareness for children’s water safety. The founders are close to Gavin Dugas and he’s been very supportive of the cause. The rodeo is held at Bridge Side Marina just at the foot of the bridge when you enter Grand Isle.

A friend called and said they were at a camp next to his. I would assume it would be at the marina. I'm sure if you donate to the cause they would be willing to sign anything you would want...
