I don’t know how long ago but mine is 6 years old (22KW air cooled) and I haven’t had any problems with it. Nor anybody I know with one.
Damn thing ran for 6 straight days during Ida and never checked up.

I’ve got a 24kw Generac air cooled and it ran for several days during ida. I’ve got 2 freezers, 1 big fridge, 3 mini fridges and a kegerator. Only thing I remember doing was Turing off my 3rd AC unit for my bonus room. I think I even forgot to shut off my chiller for my pool
