My situation is completely different, new, and entirely self inflicted but i am with you in thinking all of things you are thinking about the prospects of a happy life being a thing of the past. From an earthly perspective i would encourage you to continue to seek different medical counsel until you find one that you feel cares. The only other thing you can do is hit your knees. It sounds cliche but when nothing on earth is working what other option do we have? If you want my contact info let me know. Im not good at deep advice but sometimes having someone to listen is helpful, even if it's just a way to pass a few minutes in a day where you don't know how you are going to make it through.
