It is hard to imagine LSU pounded Florida to win the title and didn't even use its single most dominant player in the series.

When Skenes threw against Wake, I thought it guaranteed Florida the title knowing they wouldn't have to see him.

I said this the other day to myself.


The whole LSU team came ready. And you literally had your ace waiting.


I was walking through the Dallas airport today wearing an LSU baseball shirt and I saw a guy wearing an LSU baseball hat (with the stairwell font or whatever it's called) and he glared at me. I just pointed at him and he did a big shake of his right fist as if to say, "damn right." I love stuff like that.

I think not many gave LSU much of a chance because of this including a lot of LSU fans. When a team comes together like LSU did at the end of the season anything is possible. Kind of like 2019 football once the team started rolling nothing was going to stop them.
