Unless they are flighted, I despise handicapped tournaments for this very reason. I've stopped playing in them. 99% of the time the guy that shot a 52 (-2) doesn't even have a legit handicap too.

THIS! There is an organization here that has some great looking tournaments, but a lot of them are not flighted. If I'm an 18-20 hdcp, and unless it's for a charity, why would I want to pay money to play against single digit players? Never made any sense to me.
