Thanks for the advice, friend. The A/C on this car has been functioning poorly for a bit, now. We recharged the system last summer. It ran well, but was blowing warm air again about a month later.
Would it be risky for the system to simply recharge it again and have A/C for a few weeks?

Nah. If it’s low.. the recharge will put it back to where it needs to be. Those recharge kits usually have a cheap gauge that will at least get you in the ballpark.
