He obviously didnt leave the cupboard bare or LSU wouldnt be able to get to top so quick. A change was needed but he was still getting great players and had some bad luck with signees going to draft the last few years. Good for him.

He slacked big time in finding arms. He could get one or two but never enough to compete at the highest levels anymore.

I always thought CPM was a great coach but it was time to move on from him.

All of this can be attributed to Nolan Cain and not PM. The real issue was getting pitchers. Alan Dunn was getting boat raced in the development game and we started losing the big names.
