This isn't college. Find something that is a problem, convert it into a non-problem, let your manager know you're handling shite, move up in the world.


Lack of productivity is the employee's fault. Lack of assignment is the manager's fault.

If the employee is supposed to assign their own work, then their manager's role is useless and should be eliminated.
