Everyone remembers Morris's homer but not him throwing out a guy at the plate or Ray Wright robbing Miami of a homer. Also, I was with friends at a party in Ocean Springs and the place just went bananas. Hit my head on a ceiling fan (low ceiling). Will never forget that as long as I live.

I was on the Reveille sports staff and got to watch a lot of baseball that year. It was awesome. Listened to it on the radio in my Oakbrook apartment.

So rewarding to see LSU return to the pinnacle. As GOATed as Crews and Skenes are, it was phenomenal to see literally the entire team contribute in the final game. Everyone had a hit, had an RBI, and scored a run. What a stat!

Cresse drove me crazy because he was such a dead pull hitter, and after he struggled that CWS he finally pulled one in the right spot.
