Well, the gay community has never been accused of being low key or wanting less attention

The whole "pride" movement is a "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME BEING PROGRESSIVE AND UNDERSTANDING, I AM SUCH AN INTELLECTUAL COOL MOM!" attention whoring endeavor. It's so shallow, and I actually know a couple based lesbians and a gay dude that hate what it's become because of the people that have taken the whole thing over.
