Anyone have any positive or negative experience with this mower? I’ll be mowing about 2.5 acres with it regularly - weekly during prime time grass cutting season. Basic specs: 7 gauge fabbed deck, 3100 hydro gears, Kawasaki FR730, 54” deck. Any significant reason (other than personal preference) to look at anything else? I’ll have a dealer within 10 min from home and planning to buy from them. Appreciate any insight. I’m assuming most would rec the Kawasaki over Kohler, but what about a 726/24 hp Kawasaki vs a 747/26 hp Kohler?

BB is a really good brand especially for residential use like you are looking at.

I’d go with the Kawasaki btw.

I've had my 54" ZT Elite for about a year now. I love it. HUGE upgrade over my old hustler 42.

I have about 2.5 acres of grass to cut myself and it is a breeze. No issues so far.

I do have the kohler motor, as it was the only one they had in stock at the time. It's a beast.

I’ve had a magnum for 5 or 6 years. Have the Koehler engine, it’s been trouble free. Of note, my backyard has plenty of trees/roots, and it’s one rough riding SOB back there. Will rattle your teeth. Next purchase, I will be taking a closer look at which models have good suspension for a smoother ride

I’ve got the Zt Elite limited 60”.

This is my first year with it so I can’t speak to longevity but I absolutely love mowing with it.

I mow about the same acres as you and it’s made my life a lot easier
