Tyson was a great heavyweight. He just happens to be the most overrated boxer of all time at the same time. Pretty much every casual thinks Tyson is one of the two best heavyweights ever. "I know this, everybody was afraid of Tyson." Got into a heated debate with a few guys saying something like that and that's why he is one of the best ever.
Boxing purist/people that actually know about boxing don't think that, but he is hyped up a ton.

People who think Tyson is in contention for GOAT heavyweight are like baseball fans who think Nolan Ryan is in contention for GOAT pitcher.
