I'd go w VTI etf instead.

Fidelity charges $50 transaction fee for non Fidelity mutual funds. They charge zero for ETFs thus use VTI instead. You could go w Fidelity zero expense ratio Total market mutual fund FZROX but the higher distributions versus Vanguard funds are going to be taxable events in a taxable brokerage.

VTSAX and VTI have the same tax advantages because Vanguard patented a strategy to avoid them in the mutual fund.

Expired this year so other companies will do it soon too I imagine.

Anyway, that's why I was VTSAX because Vanguard didn't allow for fractional shares of VTI and it was all the same.
