Part of playing defense is making your guy work his butt off to guard you. Can’t tell how many times Gilbert Arenas has mentioned how one of the best ways to slow down an offensive player is to make him work on defense. That’s why you see teams like the Maverick put Luka on Herb because Herb just stands in the corner.

That's what stands out to me looking at his highlights. It's not just him knocking down 3s, he's running through so many screens to bend the defense it reminds me of Reggie Miller.

Trey might benefit more from Hawkins than Zion and BI, because teams are going to be too busy chasing Hawkins and doubling the stars to realize that they left Trey wide arse open.
