I’ve always said that if I won the lottery that I would take a big life insurance policy out on myself, wait 5 years and then take a trip down there. I understand it’s dumb and dangerous but I’ve wanted to do it since I was a kid.
However, now that I have a family it’s not something I would do.
Plus now they have the photo scan they just released where you’ll eventually be able to digitally project the wreckage at a large enough site to walk around it like you’re actually there looking at it. No danger involved.
The people that run these private expositions are assholes too. They will land the sub on the wreckage sight causing further damage. There are a few people who paid to go down there, have the sub landed on the deck and got married.
If the sub imploded then the passengers never knew what happened and their bodies are essentially just jelly at that depth. There would be nothing left. I hope they are found and rescued though

Yeah with VR approaching it’s just not worth it. In 10 years you will be able to hang out with Jack for a grand tour.
