I heard some of Tomlinson's bits on a recent road trip;she's pretty funny in a self-deprecating way. My favorite female comic is still Maria Bamford.

Watching TT then watching these bad ones, you see the differences. The use of pauses, delivery, , not running her mouth 200 mph, use of physical comedy, bailing out on bad jokes or making fun of the bad joke you just told, not just focusing on female issues.
