I'm going to suggest that a case in which the defendant is running for president, leading in the polls, and who is facing an alleged political prosecution to prevent that presidency, might be a little bit different than your personal injury case.
This is a legitimate, huge first amendment issue.

It's not, though. At least in terms of current precedent on P/Os and classified information/national security documents.
