Love & Rockets last night at Bomb Factory in Dallas

Saw them at Tipitinas in 1987 when Jane's Addiction was an unknown opener.Great show last night, I didn't know what to expect so really happy I went. They played for almost 2 hours including a second encore. Their stage backdrop lighting was fantastic and all the guys are still thin and have their hair. And they wore sunglasses when they were young so that helps hide the age.

The Bomb Factory is by far the best live music venue in Dallas. A friend of mine went & posted video & So Alive sounded like they were playing along to a backing track. Please tell me they were actually playing live as I like them.

Of course they were playing live. Bomb Factory is not that great when its a sold out show. Its almost impossible to get to the bar when its that crowded and when you do make it to the bar people are standing against the bar blocking access to it. So I ask for 3 beers so I don't have to make my way back to the bar but they are the only place in Dallas that will not sell you (1 person) but 2 drinks at a time. Canton Hall next door is the same way, the layout of those 2 venues which are owned by the same people is not great. The stage is also too low and makes for bad sight lines especially for short people, which thankfully I'm not but my wife is. It wasn't sold out last night so it was not bad.
