if we went to 4 10's as a standard across the board, how many years do you think it would be until the "10 hour work day is too long" mantra would start, and there would be a push for 4 8's to be the standard
If you bid an addition to your house do you stipulate they must work 5 8 hour days. No, or I would hope not. You would pay them for the job. The job is to build the addition, up to spec, for an agreed upon amount, in an agreed upon time in most cases. I dont care, if it is 3 12s, 4 10s, or 3 sixes. It either meets the terms or it does not.
