Moog has announced that it’s now part of inMusic, the music technology super-company that already owns the likes of Akai Pro, Alesis, M-Audio, Denon, Numark and Rane.

Will be interesting to see what synergies come of this, if any.

Don't know what I think about this. Isn't/wasn't Moog an employee-owned company? I don't see how association with those other brands are going to help them. And I don't want to see lower quality gear from Moog.

A Moog synth with Akai MPC pads, perhaps?

More likely for there to be an MPC with Moog plugins, probably.

I don’t know any of the backstory. Hopefully Moog continues the popular products with no change in quality and sprinkle in some cool new analog pieces. I think the Matriarch is taking off and getting used more by big names.

Just not sure I want to see them develop cheaper stuff more in line with Berhinger. Dunno maybe that’s what people are wanting these days.
