Stay in South lake Tahoe and have the flexibility to travel between the three. I looked at wind forecasts and ended up doing Kirkwood, Heavenly, then Squaw. First day at Kirkwood was because the winds were bad at Heavenly and based on the reviews above I'm glad I did it that way. Heavenly had long lift lines but beautiful views. Palisades/Squaw was my favorite of the three by a mile, could've skied there for a week
