This is what it looks like for anyone interested. There are no runs down, I'd imagine they'd be mostly double black if there were some. So no way for a beginner to get down. It actually goes uphill a little before the drop off. But I'm sure they could figure out some paths if they really wanted to.

Even the Cali side (the right) is pretty steep. I think those were blacks to the bottom. But they do have a catwalk for beginners.

I have heard that wind can cause nightmares at Heavenly, if it is windy I guess I can target Kirkwood instead. My plan is three days at Heavenly/Kirkwood and three at Palisades.

You can ski down the gondola line if you take the firebreak gate off of Olympic, if my memory serves me correctly. In good conditions, it is fun tree skiing (maybe the best skiing at Heavenly).
