Southern Miss has thrown their two best bullets and their best arm in the pen threw a starters workload yesterday.
Tennessee meanwhile has a deep pitching staff and Dollander went 8 yesterday. Burns threw one and could probably throw 3 or 4 innings today if needed.
Games are played on the field but that is why Tennessee is a heavy favorite.

It's ashame the transfer portal took away Waldrep
That sucks for the smaller schools as Power 5 will just pick them away unless they change some things
It helped LSU as well although Skenes was a little different as he had to leave Air Force to be able to get drafted and go pro and johnson had a prior relationship

It's a long shot, but I think it would be awesome to see Southern Miss win the whole damn thing.
They have to win tonight, though, and like others have mentioned, the P5 schools, especially the SEC, have the luxury of many more quality arms on staff.

As an alumni of USM, I’d love to see Berry go out like that. As a fan of LSU, I’d love to see a USM/LSU final (I think they’re on our side of the bracket though)
