I drive a ‘16 Sierra that’s paid off and has 110k miles. I got it used in ‘18. All signs currently point to me being able to get nearly what I paid for it today. I hate trying to time the market….but damn if it’s not tempting to sell it, drive a POS for a few months, and get a nicer one on sale.

I’ve had two co-workers offer me $6k for my daily beater 2005 Camry with 140,000 miles for their teenage kids. They know maintenance has been kept up on it and they said there are no cars in $5k to $6k range that aren’t total pieces of junk. Not sure how accurate this is but it is tempting.
