I found a few things, but now I am at a loss.

Find a Grave

This is his grave with his wife Margaret Hipkins Edmondson who was nicknamed Peg. She died 4 years after him. His original gravestone is also on that page which matches the birth and death date. Also says he was a 1LT in the US Air Force and the grave is in Elizabethtown, KY. Cannot find anything on Margaret though.
