Thats what I am thinking... But time is a commodity that I don;t have... When I retire soon, I hope to scan every letter and document etc...

I am looking for a small video camera now and I plan to start a youtube channel.. I plane to read all the WWII letters that I have... I believe I have about 300 so far and know that will grow..

I truely enjoy reading what they wrote, how they felt and what was going on in the country and their monds back then... And you can decipher so much from a letter or photo.

I have a couple from my GP to my dad when he was a few yrs old. GP was in the navy. Letters are early September. Guadalcanal timeframe.

That is really, really cool. I would encourage you to speak to any living WWII vet you can and on camera if possible. You are a true historian.
