Republicans should be rallying around trump right now. No exceptions. Anyone that doesn’t, should go away. Period.

Depends on what you mean by rally around.

I absolutely support Trump in his fight against these outrageous indictments and Biden’s DOJ. I can do that and be skeptical of a Trump second term at the same time. To be clear, I’m skeptical of DeSantis too (different issues), but the point is it doesn’t make a lot of sense to let the Left’s actions decide for me who to vote for in the Republican primary.

Well, if for nothing else every Republican should recognize that should this tactic by the left work out and be successful for them, to whatever extent is deemed success, this will be forever more a tactic in their playbook to be used whenever they want, with extremely high chances of success to boot. This should be seen as carrying much, much more historical significance (precedent-wise) than merely this one instance.
