I'm starting to think SEC might broker a deal to let Notre Dame play in Cotton this year in order to ensure some of the other SEC bowl games get a SEC team - like Indy and Papa Johns.

Ole Miss would. They would be ahead of us in the SEC standings (assuming they take care of Miss. State).

Even then they would have the head to head on us.

If the cotton bowls opts to take notre lame I could actually see lsu going to the independence bowl.

Why would they do this when the Cotton Bowl is more prestigious?

you mean take less money? they would do that? cause the cotton pays out much more than those two games.
