It's not a bad idea for somebody to be thinking about a plan B. I think it will be difficult to elect a man who is indicted and likely in trial by 2024 (he is already indicted for felony counts). Imagine nominating this person facing felony charges for espionage or whatever the hell they come up with? I know it makes zero difference to 75% of the people who post on this board.
The other wrench in the gears here is that he will be indicted in NYC and DC. I'd hate to have to find unbiased juries there. The dems can get convictions there for anyone they want out of the way. Anyone.
