Will be in Halifax for two days next week. Trip was sprung on me rather suddenly, and I don't know much about Halifax. Any recommendations on things to see while there?

Peggy’s Cove is a pretty sight when the waves are crashing against the rocks by the lighthouse.
Halifax was the nearest port to the Titanic disaster and the cemetery is there. It is strange looking at hundreds of gravestones all with the same date of death. all with the same date of death.
Eat plenty lobster.

We stopped in Halifax in October off a cruise ship. We did a boat tour around the harbor that was interesting. Definitely check out the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. Lots of Titanic artifacts plus all the exhibits about when the city was blown the frick up by two ships colliding in the harbor, one of which was secretly carrying ordinance. Their model ship collection is extensive. The waterfront is pretty cool, real easy to spend a day or two there checking stuff out. When in Canada, eat poutine.
