Yep. Were any of them ever prosecuted? I doubt it.

I thought the netflix doc did a good job of showing both sides of the story.
I've read all the books that are out there about the incident and listened to the Heemeyer tapes. Unfortunately many of the books available are written by his detractors.
Heemeyer was certainly a disturbed individual but he was absolutely pushed by these local simpletons who were using their positions in part of the "good ole boy" club to exert their power over him.
With that said even most of his friends said he "spent too much time alone in that cabin" and he kind of fell into a depression/suicidal phase.
It sucks because by many accounts he seemed like a good friend to the people he knew and got along with.
Lastly, whatever you think of the guy you have to admire his commitment.
