I've no idea whether Thomas Harris got the research right, but he is generally pretty thorough.

I have searched for any data or study establishing that transgender folks are MORE violent than the norm, and I have found no such thing.
I am still waiting for someone to produce the data confirming the notion that transgender kids are more likely to be violent in restrooms than their non-transgender classmates. Apparently, this is some long-proven axiom, so it should be a simple matter to produce the data.
