Alright, so what do you consider being treated decently means?

Well in terms of LGBTQ+ people, there are high rates of estrangement from family, which has decreased in the last few years. Of my friends who are gay, the ones that are elder millennials are mostly estranged from their families, but the zoomers are far more accepted.

We might be talking about two different things though.

Ok, that doesn’t mean they were not treated decently. And that does not mean that they weren’t or aren’t loved. Also, they could be the one that estranged themselves from their families.

Just because you get my unconditional love as my child does not mean you get my unconditional support. But that does not mean that you won’t be treated decently and fairly either.

I think a bunch of the gays want to be supported no matter what and that’s just not reasonable on their part. Acceptance and support are not the same thing.
