My sarcasm meter may be broken. Is this sarcasm?

No, they have not announced their starter yet

Did OSU throw their #1 arm yesterday?

Ben Ferrer has a 4.39 ERA mostly in relief, but he gave up 9 R in 8.2 IP in starts the last two weeks (one against West Carolina). He did have a 3.38 ERA in conference play, so he had been pitching well later in the year prior to being moved into a starting role. He pitched 9 scoreless innings in his last 3 games in relief (two of those outings going 4 IP). I suspect they may have him come on in relief tomorrow.
AJ Lattery is 4-0 with a 4.09 ERA working mostly in relief before being forced into the 3rd starter role when Hunter went down in mid-April. His ERA in conference play was only 5.60 (similar to Floyd’s conference ERA). He went back to a relief role the last couple of weeks pitching 5 scoreless innings in 2 games. In his prior 4 starts, he gave up 15 R in 12 IP.
Behind those guys, they have 3 relievers with ERAs between 3.93 and 4.30 in conference play with no starts in conference. Ian Lawson averaged 2 IP per appearance in conference. The other 2 just over 1 IP per appearance.

My bad. My eyes weren’t awake . I was reading that as “we haven’t announced our starter yet.”

How are you feeling about our chances against OSU today?
Posted on 6/3/23 at 7:57 am to Northwest Louisiana
I like our odds
Oregon st is one of the least experienced teams in the tourney from a hitting perspective. Top 5 lowest from my calcs.
Also floyd with a normal zone should be good

I’m shocked to read this after what they did last night

Thank you. I respect your opinion on this. I guess it’s safe to say that Sam Houston’s pitching just isn’t that good

Its not an end all be all factor, just something i consider in close matchups
