Soak it with water. An oak tree can consume up to 100 gallons of water per day.
We had a record drought last fall, with a record arctic blast. The two combined put a hurting on all plants and grasses.
We are now dry and hot. Centipede will shrivel in a few days with no water in this heat. It needs a deep watering every 2-3 days depending on your soil type.
